Sealed bids for the furnishing of labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the following: This Project will rehabilitate parts of Fremont's sewer system and includes the following components: Rehabilitate +- 960 LF of 8-inch and 10-inch sanitary sewer pipes utilizing point repair and open-trench replacement; Replacement/Reconnection of approx. 71 sanitary sewer laterals to existing, new, or previously CIPPlined sewer mains; Misc. replacement and/or rehabilitation of the following Pump Stations; Fremont No. 1 Fremont No. 2 Fremont No. 3 Fremont No. 4 Fremont No. 5 Fremont No. 6 Fremont No. 7 Goldsboro No. 2 Eureka No. 1 Eureka No. 2 Note: see Schedule of Values in the Bid Form section for a detailed scope of work for each station Bids must be made on the blank form provided in the Project Manual and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen/Alderwomen, Town of Fremont, 126 East Main Street, Fremont, NC 27830 Acceptable classifications for this Project shall be "Public Utilities (PU)" or "Unclassified." Bids shall be based upon the lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated on the Bid Form. If a Bidder fails to execute and file an agreement, the amount of his security shall be forfeited. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 91 days after the opening thereof. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for the opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
