Renovation of an educational facility in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. A copy of each bidder's registration certificate shall be included with the Form of Proposal. Last day for submitting questions to architect (7 days prior to Bid Date) 12/13/24 All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State as required by the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act. Each Bidder's Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the James Rumsey Technical Institute, shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the accepted bid, and the fee for same shall be included in their bid.
