The project consists of replacing approximately one hundred and fifty feet (150') of an existing 36" CMP pipe with a 150 linear foot of fifty-four inch (54") Corrugated Metal Aluminum, installing a fifty-foot (50') "V" shape grass channel, and one junction box. The new pipe cross section requires installation of the new pipe over a sound and suitable foundation as specified, over approved bedding, and supported by approved backfill materials as shown on project plans and details; installing a construction entrance; setting up pipe staging area; clearing & grubbing; installation sediment & erosion control devices; removal and proper disposal of existing pipe; backfill soil & aggregate base testing; and seeding. Repair the 36" discharge pipe blowout from historical rain events, and the improvement is to install 150 linear feet of 54" pipe, install a new junction box, riprap apron, grading, and seeding. Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm or in any way restrain or restrict competition. On the contrary, all responsible firms, local, faith-based, minority-owned, and female-owned are encouraged to submit a proposal. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
