Satellite Apartments Fire Sprinkler System Delta Community Developers Corp. (DCDC) is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed C-16 Fire Protection Contractors to provide designs, obtain permits, fabricate and install a fire protection system at the Satellite Apartments complex located at 530 N. Stanislaus Street, Stockton, CA 95202. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the PublicPurchase.com website by the end of the day on December 9, 2024. Notice of HUD Section 3 Economic Opportunity: This may be a Section 3 covered project and may be subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. DCDC encourages participation by certified HUD Section 3 businesses, as well as, minority-owned and women-owned businesses, and disabled veteran business enterprises. The total approximate apartment building square footage is 7,500 SF, see attached architectural "As built" plans pages G100 through A501 (Attachment O). NOTE: Proposers are responsible to field verify for before submitting proposals. 2.2 The Contractor will be aware of the current Asbestos/Lead-Based reports one for the interior, see Attachment M, and one for the roof, see Attachment N prepared by Stockton Environmental. The Contractor shall comply with abatement measures as required for the Fire Sprinkler Installation scope. 2.3 The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all applicable required permits from the City of Stockton Building and Fire Departments (Lead Agency) throughout the construction period up to the building permit final approval and acceptance from both the architect, DCDC Staff, and the City of Stockton Building and Fire departments. DCDC will pay any fees associated with the building permit and/or any additional fees as agreed upon through the project. 2.4 Demolition and/or Access Penetrations of Existing Material(s): The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and services, complete all associated physical work for the removal and lawful disposal and/or penetration requirements of existing building materials to create and/or expose access requirements for the installation of the sprinkler systems. Any additional abatement, material removal costs, dumping fees, and reporting associated with these operations will be included in the total proposal submitted by the Contractor.
