Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

For PHASE 2, SACHEM SCHOOL DISTRICT 2023/2024 -CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM Bids may be dropped off in the front vestibule of the Sachem Administrative Offices, 51 School Street, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 or shipped via: US Mail, Fed-Ex, UPS, and/or any authorized carrier that is able to officially track proposer's bid packet. It is advised that arrangements be made for bids be delivered prior to the bid opening date to avoid any issues with delivery delays on the bid opening date. In the event bids cannot be opened on said date due to unforeseen events, they will be opened on the next day that the Purchasing Office is open. A Certification of Bid Opening indicating all bids received will be made available on the JAG Plan room website www.jagplanroom.com shortly after the bid opening. All bids received after the time stated above will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The bidder assumes responsibility for having its bid deposited on time at the place specified. Each Bidder shall agree to hold their bid price for forty-five (45) days after the formal bid opening. All deposits shall be forfeited after the thirty (30) days have elapsed. ANY PERSON OR CORPORATION WHO FAILS TO SUBMIT A BID SHALL FORFEIT THEIR HARD COPY BID DOCUMENT DEPOSIT IN ITS ENTIRETY. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at no charge on the JAG Planroom website. Plan holders who have obtained hard copies of bid documents are responsible for obtaining all bid addenda. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped are responsible to pay for all packaging and shipping costs. The work shall be as follows: CONTRACT #1- ROOF REPLACEMENT AND GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT #2-PLUMBING RECONSTRUCTION CONTRACT #3-HVAC RECONSTRUCTION CONTRACT #4- ELECTRICAL RECONSTRUCTION SED # 58-02-05-06-0-008-034- SAMOSET MIDDLE SCHOOL 58-02-05-06-0-010-028- SAGAMORE MIDDLE SCHOOL 58-02-05-06-0-017-022- SENECA MIDDLE SCHOOL Bidders may schedule site visits making prior arrangements with Pasquale Romeo, Director of Facilities or his designee, telephone: 631-471-1370. No one may visit the buildings or sites without an appointment. Bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the base bid and all Alternate Bids must be submitted with sealed bids. All contractors must comply with the Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law. The Sachem Central School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality or irregularity and/or to accept any bid in whole or in part and/or to award or not award the contract, if it is in the best interest of the School District.
