Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/11/18 03:00:00 PM NST Work on this project includes, but is not limited to, Exterior Repairs - 151 Church Road, Victoria, NL. The following outline is general and is not to be considered complete in every detail. All items to be supply and install unless otherwise noted. Contractor responsible for damage caused during construction. Before submitting a quote, bidders shall carefully examine the Contract Documents and the site of the proposed work to fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations. No claim will be entertained or allowed for any labour, materials or other extras that may be required for the proper execution and completion of the contract, which could have been determined by site examination. Commercial General Liability Insurance: Without restricting the generality of Section 5 - Indemnity hereof, the Contractor shall maintain, at its expense, Commercial General Liability Insurance acceptable to NLHC to protect NLHC against all liabilities or damages in respect of injuries to persons (including injuries resulting in death) in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) with respect to the operations of the Contractor and/or its Sub-Contractors and in respect of damages to property arising out of performance of the Work. This insurance shall include NLHC and the occupant of the property as Additional Insureds. The Contractor shall not commence any work until a Certificate of Insurance, obtained at the Contractor's expense, has been received and approved by NLHC as specified herein. 1 Remove all existing stair components located at the rear entrance of 151 Church Road, including but not limited to stairs, decking, and bracing. Contractor is responsible to remove pre-cast concrete deck supports and replace with new where pre-cast concrete deck supports are NOT in good condition. Contractor is responsible to remove existing concrete pads to facilitate repairs. .2 All materials not being reinstated are to be removed from site and disposed of at an approved disposal area. 3 Contractor is responsible to move and re-install with the coordination of all utility companies, electrical, cable and telephone connections. Contractor is responsible for all items damaged during construction. .1 Replace rear entrance stairs and landings, as per Drawing A-1. Contractor is permitted to reuse existing pre-cast concrete deck supports where in good condition. 2 Supply and install new landing and stairs over existing concrete steps to front entry door as per Drawing A-2. All measurements to be confirmed on site by contractor. .3 All stairs and landings are to be suited to existing site conditions. .4 Contractor to restore any areas affected by construction to original condition including but not limited to topsoil, sod, etc. 3 WINDOW .1 Remove existing window and install new vinyl window as per Drawing A-3. Filling in, re- framing, or enlarging existing openings to facilitate installation of new window, to be included in contract price. Re-install existing drapery hardware. Window must be approved by NLHC representative. Shop drawings to be submitted for review. .2 Install new finger jointed pine casing and trim on all windows. Casing and trims to be primed and painted white. 3 Contractor to measure window prior to bidding. 4 Replace deteriorated or inadequate materials, price for these items to be entered on TF-7. .5 Contractor is responsible for any items damaged by construction.
