Site work for a water / sewer project in Nome, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Questions should be addressed to the City Engineer, John Blees by email jblees@bristol-companies.com. The City of Nome will receive sealed bids to perform construction activities to repair the Cape Nome Jetty which was damaged during a 2022 storm designated FEMA PA-10-AK-4672. Repair of the Cape Nome Jetty will include survey, mobilization for all work, demobilization, repair of damaged sheet pile, dredging and disposal, supply and placement of imported fill, filter rock, B-rock and armor rock, and demolition and replacement of a mooring bollard. A five per cent bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will also be required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified Bidder as determined by the City. The City of Nome reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
