Renovation of a municipal facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
1 Removal, transportation and disposal of all existing battery cells from existing battery room. .2 Dismantling, removal and disposal of existing battery bank racks from existing battery room. .3 Transportation and disposal of old batteries should be carried out in accordance with Appendix A (Environmental requirements for transport and disposal of old batteries). .4 The Company shall provide a certificate from an approved recycler confirming the proper recycling of all batteries removed as part of the contract. This certificate must be submitted to the TTC upon completion of the work. The certificate should include details such as the quantity of batteries recycled, the recycling process utilized, and compliance with all applicable regulations. .5 Supply, Installation and Commissioning of new UPS systems and batteries for new UPS requirements (Refer Section 26 33 53 - UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY for details). .6 All preparation work to be executed during TTC regular business hours 7am - 3pm Toronto Time (Monday to Friday). .7 Cutover, removal and Installation to be done on weekends or after hours. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
