Furnishing of Labor, Equipment and Materials Required to Haul and Dispose of Solid Waste at the Southern Water Pollution Control Facility (SWPCF), and Disposal of All Solid Waste at an Approved Disposal Facility for a period of one year. The contract may be extended at the option of the Authority for two one-year extensions. Any such extensions shall be awarded by resolution upon finding that the services under this contract are being performed in an effective and efficient manner. Accompanying each bid shall be a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 payable to The Ocean County Utilities Authority, as a guarantee that the Agreement will be executed. The successful bidder shall be required to post a performance bond in the full amount of the contract, within ten (10) days after notification that the contract agreement is ready for signature. The contract will be effective as of the date set forth on Page 1 of the contract agreement and performance bonds must reflect that date. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any and all informalities or technicalities, if in the best interest of the Authority.
