Fond du Lac County Purchasing Manager is requesting bids for Pickleball Court Construction at Waupun County Park located at 825 County Park Rd, Waupun, WI Fond du Lac County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and the right to disregard all nonconforming proposals. If the project is awarded, it shall be awarded to the bid that will best serve the interests of Fond du Lac County. - Install erosion control fence around perimeter. - Strip topsoil off area (including landscape area) and stockpile. Undercut courts and move material to outside of courts as backfill. - Install sidewalk from street to pickleball courts. - Install drain tile pipe per plans on west side and 8" culvert under sidewalk to elevations shown. - Install 8 oz non-woven geotextile fabric in excavation, and new WI DOT 209 grade 1 material in 6" lifts and compact. All aggregate is to be placed with laser guided equipment.No red or blue tops or lath will be allowed inside the court and walk areas. - Laser grade and install 3/4" TB, install 2 layers (top layer to be 10 mil Stego Wrap) of 10 mil poly in opposite directions, overlap 12", tape joints over court areas, install pt cables and 6" concrete, concrete to be finished to a pan trowel just short of burnished. Note: PT slab to meet or exceed requirements for slope, planarity, and evenness per ASBA 2024 Construction and Maintenance Manual (p168 - 169) Any corrections required (either grinding or filling) to meet those specifications are the responsibility of the concrete contractor and are to be coordinated with the color coating contractor. Cover slab immediately and leave covered for two weeks. Pre-tension and tension cables per specs. - Install fence posts, concrete curbs, fence fabric, and concrete sidewalks. Curbs and walks to have a broom finish. After 30 day cure, shot blast courts, install, apply a diluted LM Bond Kote (1part LM to 5 parts water) 2 coats AR and 2 coats of color (inside to be dark green, exterior light green, and kitchen in grey). Mask, line prime & stripe court. - Landscape and seed around perimeter and clean site. Proposals should include a timeline based on a 2024 award of services. The timeline should include the approximate period work can commence and how many days work is expected to take. Installation completion window is December 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 June 30, 2025.
