Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Alva, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.

As of December 6, 2024, a clarification was released by the project architect: This is not an addendum. This email is a clarification on some discussion items that have been discussed, not changed. The roof insulation specified for the building is the “Simple Saver” system. No other metal building insulation in addition to this is required on the roof. The walls of the metal building are to receive 3” insulation, installed with the metal building erection. This insulation should be faceless, with no vapor barrier if available. In addition to that there will be 6” insulation per the insulation section of the specifications, generally installed after building erection, before gypsum board. The owner is responsible to move the cooler to the site and erect it or place it on the new slab which is to be provided by the contractor. The only thing the contractor would be responsible for on the walk in are the utilities and connections, the slab, and the opening for the cooler doors in the building wall. There was no carpet specification on the plans so the selection of carpet tile can be made by the contractor. It is too late to issue an addendum but we will accept extending the LVT in those 3 rooms shown to receive carpet. This is not required but is acceptable. The pre-engineered metal building is to be flush girts. New Building for Woods County Senior Citizens Center - Alva, OK For the following two (2) separate projects: 1. Project No. 24-25-04: New Building for Woods County Senior Citizens Center - Alva, OK Business Relationships Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit and cashiers check, certified check, or Surety Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the base bid as a guaranty shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof The successful bidder will be required to submit statutory Payment, Performance, Defect and Maintenance Bonds prior to commencing work on the project. For purposes of the bid, do not include any local or state sales tax. The Woods County Commissioners will appoint the successful bidder its agent for the purpose of receiving tax exempt status on purchase of materials for this Contract only.
