Renovation of an educational facility in Alva, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a post-secondary education facility.
INTERPRETATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS: If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans and specifications, he may submit an interpretation request to the Architect, who will send a written bulletin to all bidders. Neither the Architect nor the Owner will be responsible for any oral instructions. SCOPE OF WORK SUMMARY: The following is a summary of the scope of work required for the project. This summary is listed to state the basic requirements for the HVAC systems to be bid. All work and timing is to be coordinated with the Owner. Final connections and disconnects shall be a fully coordinated effort and shall conform to Owner's schedule. Power outages at times other than those stated are not acceptable because of ongoing university activities. 1. Removing and replacing existing HVAC units with new units. Mechanical, electrical, and related labor and materials are for the HSSE Building. Provide new electrical, cabling, condensate piping, etc. as necessary to make the installations 100% operational. 2. Remove old equipment and materials that the Owner does not want to keep. Comply with all environmental requirements for reclamation of refrigerant. 3. Provide new service disconnects as necessary and/or required. 4. Provide new HVAC units, electrical disconnects, electrical service, gas service, etc. for new units at existing gym/work out room that has no HVAC units.
