Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dunellen, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of pavement milling, the furnishing and installation of hot mix asphalt surface course, including sweeping, tack coating, other pavement preparation, the removal and replacement of curbs and related work. The project also includes sidewalks and driveway aprons, curb ramps, driveway restoration and partial reconstruction where indicated on the plans, minor modifications to existing storm drainage structures, installation of rapid rectangular flashing beacon (RRFB) crosswalk assemblies, speed signs, led stop signs, rumble stripes, and all other associated work and services in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work at additional locations may be ordered by the Borough if deemed appropriate. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cashiers check in the amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable without any conditional endorsement as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will within ten (10) days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so they shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the Bidder. No interest shall be allowed upon any such certified check or cashing check. A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00, may be substituted for certified check or cashiers check. nt.
