The Project being placed out for bid by the Town of Huntersville is the NC 115 at Harvest Point sidewalk and retaining wall installation shown on Exhibit A and B to this RFB. The Town of Huntersville Board of Commissioners (Town Board) Reserves the Right To Reject Any and All Bids for Any Reason, at Any Time, and to Waive Minor Informalities Date of Availability & Completion: February 1st (Available) - September 18th, 2025 (Completion) Intermediate Contract Time and Liquidated Damages The Contractor Shall Not Close or Narrow a Lane of Traffic, Detain and/or Alter the Traffic Flow on Or During Holidays, Holiday Weekends, Special Events, or Any Other Time When Traffic is Unusually Heavy, Including the Following Schedules: Payment and Performance Bonds The Contractor Will Be Required to Execute Both a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond in Accordance With G.s. 44a-26. The Contractor, by the Execution of the Award, Shall Provide the Town of Huntersville With a Contract Payment Bond and a Contract Performance Bond Each in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Amount of the Contract. The Corporate Surety Furnishing the Bonds Shall Be Authorized to Do Business in the State. The Contractor's Failure to Provide Acceptable Bonds by the Execution Date of the Award Shall Be Just Cause for Rescinding the Award of the Contract.
