1. PURPOSE: The City of Austin (City) seeks to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor(s) to provide a 2500/2800kVA constructed "rental style" multi-tap transformer to be used for connecting 480V generators to medium voltage switchgear including 2400V DELTA, 4160Y/2400 and 12470Y/7200 voltages. This transformer will be mobile and will need to have a 3" steel cage installed around transformer with bolt-down anchors and forklift pockets. Any items or services that have been omitted from this scope of work that are clearly necessary or in conformance of services/goods shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in the scope of work. 2. TERM OF CONTRACT: The term of the contract shall commence upon execution and unless otherwise specified and shall remain in effect as needed or until the total contract amount has been expended.
