Question Deadline 05/07/2025 at 3:00 PM CT Selective demolition and replacement of interior finishes and millwork in order to replace the existing plumbing piping in MHAs The Terrace (Richardson Terrace) senior-citizen high-rise apartment building Bidder must agree to pay their employees not less than the minimum wage rates for residential work prescribed by General Decision Number: AL20250093, is attached to the bid package. In addition, certified weekly payroll forms will be required and submitted to MHAs Project Manager. Bidder will sign the bottom of the wage determination form to acknowledge receipt and include in bid. Bid security must be furnished with bids in the amount of $100,000.00 or more. Bid security shall be in the form of a bid bond (executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make such bonds in Alabama) or a cashiers check (drawn on an Alabama bank) payable to MHA. The amount of the bid security should not be less than 5% of the contractors bid but is not required to be more than $10,000.00. The Agency retains the right to (and most likely will) require certain revisions to the engagement letter, especially of proposed terms that either, in the Agencys opinion, conflict with the terms listed within the contract.
