**As of January20 , 2025, project was awarded toGemini General Contracting , awarded amount is $234,712.50 55th Street Water Distribution System Replacement The work to be performed under this contract shall include, but not be limited to the following work, all as shown on the plans and described in the specifications: 1. Abandonment of existing Cast Iron Water Mains & Removal of Old Valve Risers. 2. Construction of P.V.C. 8-inch water mains. 3. Install New Hydrant with Valve 4. Install new gate valves, various sizes. 5. Construct Water Service Reconnections. 6. Trench Restoration. 7. Maintain and protect traffic. 8. Maintain SESC measures. City; and must be accompanied by a statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the City and either a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the City of Sea Isle City for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check need not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of the project is required. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the City of Sea Isle City.
