Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Spartanburg County is seeking sealed proposals from demolition contractors for the demolition of the fourteen (14) structures listed below. These structures are condemned and ordered to be demolished. Spartanburg County has had asbestos testing completed on each of the listed locations. Three (3) no asbestos identified. Eleven (11) of the structures contain friable material. Four (4) will require project design and air monitoring. Six (6) will require air monitoring only. Two (2) only asbestos identified. The contractor shall remove all demolition debris. 1. 405 Judd Street, Spartanburg SC 29301 (Parcel Number 6-18-02-038.00)- located on Judd Street near the intersection of Foster Street in the Saxon community. Two-story wood structure. Has public water and sewer. Asbestos identified, project design and air monitoring required. 2. 1 Foster Street, Spartanburg SC 29301 (Parcel Number 6-18-02-039.00)- located on Foster Street at intersection of Judd Street in the Saxon community. Two-story residential structure. Has public sewer and water. Asbestos identified and air monitoring maybe required. 3. 2 Manning Street, Spartanburg SC 29301 (Parcel Number 6-18-03-034.00)- located on Manning Street in the Saxon. Manning Street is runs off Front Street. Two-story residential vinyl structure. Has public sewer and water. No asbestos identified. 4. 5 Manning Street, Spartanburg SC 29301 (Parcel Number 6-18-03-039.00)- located on Manning Street in the Saxon community. Manning street runs off Front Street. One-story residential wood structure and secondary structure. Has public sewer and water. Asbestos identified and air monitoring required. 5. 929 Whitlock Street, Spartanburg SC 29301 (Parcel Number 7-11-03-044.00)-located on Whitlock Street in the Saxon community. Whitlock Street runs off Nahant Street. Nahant Street runs off Hayne Street. One-story wood partial demolished residential structure. Has public sewer and water. No Asbestos identified. 6. 781 South Center Street, Spartanburg SC 29301(Parcel Number 7-11-11-008.01)-located on South Center Street. South Center Street located off Williams Street. Williams Street is located off Hayne Street. One-story vinyl residential structure. Has public sewer and water. No Asbestos identified. 7. 327 Case Avenue, Spartanburg SC 29301(Parcel Number 6-18-07-089.00)- located off Case Ave. Case Avenue is located off Adger Street. Adger Street is located off Front Street in the Saxon community. One-story wood residential structure. Has public sewer and water. Asbestos identified. 8. 130 Rosetta Court, Spartanburg SC 29378 (Parcel Number 6-13-10-199.00)-located on Rosetta Court in the Una Community. Rosetta Court is located off Stephens Grove Road. 130 is located behind 120 Rosetta Court. Asbestos identified. 9. 331 New Cut Road, Spartanburg SC 29378 (Parcel Number 6-13-10-145.01) is located on New Cut Road in the Una community. One-story wood residential structure with public water and sewer. Asbestos identified and air monitoring required. 10. 1210 Shoally Creek Road, Boiling Springs SC 29316 (Parcel Number 2-51-00-090.02)- located off Shoally Creek Road in the Boiling Springs community. Shoally Creek Road is located off Highway 9. One-story wood residential structure. Has Public water and septic. Has detached garage that is also to be removed. Asbestos identified and air monitoring required. 11. 259 4th Street, Boiling Springs SC 29316 (Parcel Number 2-51-00-046.00)-located off 4th Street in the Boiling Springs community. 4th Street is located off Highway 9. One-Story wood residential structure. Has public water and septic. Foliage will need to be removed to conducted demolition. Asbestos identified and air monitoring required. 12. 106 Crest Circle, Spartanburg SC 29302 (Parcel Number 7-18-13-041.02)- Located on Crest Circle in the Cedar Springs community. Crest Circle runs off Keltner Avenue. Keltner Avenue runs off Southport Road. Burnt commercial brick structure. Has public water. Asbestos identified, project design and air monitoring required. 13. 350 Cedar Springs Avenue, Spartanburg SC 29301(Parcel Number 7-18-13-041.02)- Located on Cedar Springs Avenue in the Cedar Springs community. Locate on the same parcel as 106 Crest Circle. Cedar Springs Avenue runs off Keltner Avenue. Keltner Avenue runs off Southport Road. Apartments multi-units commercial brick structure. Has public water. Asbestos identified, project design and air monitoring required. 14. 410 Cedar Spring Avenue, Spartanburg SC 29301(Parcel Number 7-18-13-008.00)- Located on Cedar Springs Avenue in the Cedar Springs community. Locate on Cedar Springs Avenue near the intersection of Southport Road. Commercial structure. Has public water and sewer. Asbestos identified, project design and air monitoring required. Every effort has been made to ensure that all information needed is included in this document. If the Proposer finds that they cannot complete its response without additional information, it may submit written questions or requests for clarification to the County Purchasing Department at the addresses listed on page 1 or submit questions by email to Gina Bennett, Procurement Manager, at gpbennett@spartanburgcounty.org. Written questions shall be submitted at least five (5) calendar days prior to Proposal's submission date. Questions submitted after this date will be rejected as not timely. Any Proposal submitted as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be binding on the Proposer for sixty (60) calendar days following the specified opening date. Any Proposal for which the Proposer specifies a shorter acceptance period will be rejected. At the end of the sixty (60) calendar day period, Proposals may be withdrawn by submitting a written request to the Procurement Manager. The written request to withdraw the Proposal must be received, regardless of when it was mailed, by the Procurement Manager within five (5) calendar days after expiration of the sixty (60) calendar day period, or the Proposal shall remain in effect until an award is made or the RFP is cancelled.
