The Project includes the following Work: Cleaning and CCTV of approximately 1,100 LF of 8-inch diameter sewer; 1,900 LF of 8-inch CIPP liner installation; 550 VF of manhole rehabilitation; and replacement of 42 LF of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to KCUD located at 1905 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 or P.O. Box 9569, Knoxville, TN 37940. Outside of the envelope must be marked "Bid for Burnett Creek Basin Sewer Rehabilitation". If a Bid is sent either by mail or other delivery system, the sealed Bid must be enclosed in a separate package plainly marked on the outside with the notation "BID ENCLOSED". The sealed Bid envelope must bear on the outside, the name of the Bidder, Bidder's address, and Bidder's license number with expiration date (please refer to Instructions to Bidders). All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document or as provided by Addendum prior to Bid. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum, unit prices, and allowances basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Successful Bidder must furnish a Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bonds. Prospective Bidders must register and purchase Bidding Documents through the designated website in order to be considered an official plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Project has an expected duration of 210 days. Any Contract that uses federal funds to pay for construction work is a federally assisted construction contract and must include the equal opportunity clause found in 2 C.F.R. Part 200, unless otherwise stated in 41 C.F.R. Part 60, and encourages all small and minority owned firms and women's business enterprises to participate. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All Bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.
