Sourcewell, the State of Minnesota Local governmental agency and service , in cooperation with cooperative purchasing organization, has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purchase of Grounds Maintenance Equipment and Related Attachments. The Chief Procurement Officer for General Services (CPO-GS) has authorized that the State of Illinois and/or its governmental units may participate in the resulting contract(s) on a non-mandatory basis. This opportunity is being published in the Illinois Procurement Bulletin to only give notice to interested vendors; you must obtain the solicitation from the State of Minnesota's publication in Sourcewell Procurement Portal. The purpose of this RFP is to establish Master Agreements with qualified Offerors to provide services related to Grounds Maintenance Equipment and Related Attachments for all Participating Entities. The objective of this RFP is to obtain best value and achieve more favorable pricing than is obtainable by an individual state or local government entity because of the collective volume of potential purchases by numerous state and local government entities. The Master Agreement(s) resulting from this procurement shall be extended to state governments (including departments, agencies, institutions), institutions of higher education, political subdivisions (i.e. school districts, counties, cities, etc., the District of Columbia, territories of the United States, and other eligible entities subject to approval of the individual state procurement director and compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory provisions. The initial term of the Master Agreement shall be (4) four years with optional (3) three additional (1) one year extensions based on the best interests of Sourcewell and its Participating Entities. Sourcewell retains the right to consider additional extension beyond seven years as required under exceptional circumstances; however, contract vendors must submit an annual certification that they are still compliant with the mandatory minimum requirements and technical specifications of the RFP. The resulting Master Agreement contract(s) will provide Participating Entities with access to Grounds Maintenance Equipment and Related Attachments.
