Demolition and renovation of a stadium in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a stadium; and for the renovation of a stadium.
Scope of Work: Demolition: Remove all overhead bus duct systems (eight total) in the lower concourse on the east side of Doak Campbell Stadium. Remove all abandoned-in-place empty raceways associated with the bus duct systems. The feeders and panels that are existing to remain and currently powered from the bus duct systems shall be reworked as noted on the renovation scope of work. Renovation: Furnish (2) new service entrance main distribution panels to re-feed the existing to remain panels and associated feeders that are currently fed from the bus duct systems. The new distribution panels shall be fed from the existing utility transformer that currently serves the bus duct systems. Furnish a new grounding electrode system at both of the new service entrance panels. Intercept the existing to remain feeders (conduit and conductors) at the bus plug locations and furnish new splice boxes to splice new conductors with existing conductors. Furnish new feeders from the two distribution panels to the new splice boxes. Furnish new engraved labels on all new panels and existing panels for new panel naming conventions. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts. Phased Construction A. The Work shall be conducted in multiple phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated. B. Before commencing Work of each phase, submit an updated copy of Contractor's construction schedule showing the sequence, commencement and completion dates for all phases of the Work. 1.5 WORK UNDER SEPARATE CONTRACTS A. General: Cooperate fully with separate contractors so work on those contracts may be carried out smoothly, without interfering with or delaying Work under this Contract or other contracts. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed under separate contracts.
