HVAC Maintenance Unless Bid Bond has been waived as noted in the Special Provisions, each bidder shall submit with its Bid a guaranty in sum equal to at least 10% of the total value of its bid, according to Delaware Code Title 29, Section 6927(a). Each vendor shall furnish a bond to the State of Delaware for the benefit of New Castle County Vo-Tech School District in the amount equal to 10% of the respective bid value. The bond shall be drawn upon an insurance or bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Delaware. A certified check made out to the State of Delaware, New Castle County Vo-Tech School District in an amount equal to 10% of the respective proposed value may be submitted in lieu of a Bid bond. Each vendor's contract shall be valid November 26, 2024 through November 26, 2025. Each contract may be 2501ed for three (3) additional one (1) year extension through negotiation between the contractor and New Castle County Vo-Tech School District. Negotiation must be initiated no later than ninety (90) days prior to the termination of the current agreement. The right is reserved to waive technicalities, to reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof, to advertise for new Bids, to proceed to do the work otherwise, or to abandon the work, if in the judgment of the Agency or its agent, the best interest of the State will be promoted thereby Question Deadline 11/15/2024 All questions with regard to the interpretation of this Invitation must be received in writing.
