Glenwood Lake Dam Improvements. The City of New Rochelle (City) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for professional engineering and landscape architectural services for the Glenwood Lake Dam Improvements project (i.e. the Project). The Project generally entails the design of dam safety improvements for compliance with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Dam Safety Program, and additional improvements related to water quality, ecology and landscaping around the dam. Under this phase of work, the consultant shall complete the following tasks: Wetland Delineation; perform a wetland delineation by a qualified wetland scientist to assess the presence and flag wetland limits within the site, if any. Site Survey; procure a site survey that depicts the property boundaries (refer to Attachment F - Site and Project Limits) and detailed information within the project limits as required for design, such as existing elevations, trees, vegetation, dam features, etc. Bathometric Survey; procure a bathometric survey to record existing water depth within the reservoir. Sediment Characterization; collect samples and test existing sediment within the reservoir as required to analyze the environmental quality of the sediment
