Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in New Rochelle, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a library; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Exterior site work including the abandonment in place of two 7,500-gallon underground water storage tanks, backfill and grading. 2. Provide unit paving patio. 3. Adjusting elevation of existing yard drains and limited regrading of lawn area. 4. Provide an automatically operating canopy with supporting pergola. Pergola to be design-built to comply with engineering information provided on the Documents. 5. Miscellaneous electrical and plumbing work necessary for the proper installation of the work. 6. The replacement of existing exterior storefront entrance style doors with aluminum storefront entrances with automatic door operator. 7. Provide mesh infill at existing opening in garden wall. 8. Provide site lighting fixture and pergola lighting fixtures. 9. Provide prefabricated stainless-steel sink/counter unit and related plumbing. 10. There is an alternate bid for providing audio visual equipment. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Project consists of exterior site work including the removal of two 7,500-gallon underground water storage tanks, installation of unit paving, a canopy with supporting pergola, miscellaneous electrical and plumbing work, and the replacement of existing exterior storefront entrance style doors. There is also an alternate bid for the installation of audio visual equipment. 1. Project Location: 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle, New York, 10801 Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Bidders Questions: Architect will provide responses to bidders questions received up to December 19, 2024. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
