SCOPE OF WORK 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) services as described herein: The fabrication of at least eight (8) interpretive panels in porcelain enamel. One (1) panel will measure 48 inches wide by 24 inches tall. One (1) panel will measure 36 inches wide by 24 inches tall. Six (6) panels will measure 42 inches wide by 24 inches tall. The porcelain enamel panels are to be printed in full color and feature complex graphics such as photographs, vector graphics, shapes, and fonts. Porcelain enamel panels shall be warranted against failure or fading by the Contractor for twenty-five (25) years. Ordinary wear, weathering, and unusual neglect or abuse shall be exempted. In addition, contractor shall provide a five-year guarantee against defects and faults on all aspects of the design, engineering, and fabrication. Contractor shall have the option to print panels from PDF or formats alternative to Adobe CC, such as Serifs Affinity suite of software. Contractor also agrees to provide the fabrication of at least seven (7) exhibit bases in various sizes to display the porcelain enamel panels. One (1) exhibit base shall be an NPS style double leg upright that holds a 36 inch wide by 24 inch tall panel. The exhibit base shall have an awning or roof structure to shade the panel. Six (6) exhibit bases shall be an NPS low-profile traditional style with 45 degree display angle, that hold 42 inch wide by 24 inch tall panels. All exhibit bases shall be powder-coated in a dark brown finish. Contractor shall provide a one-year guarantee against defects and faults on all aspects of the design, engineering, fabrication and set-up. Ordinary wear, weathering, and unusual neglect or abuse shall be exempted.
