Project Estimated Budget: The proposed estimated budget for construction costs for this Project is $4,133,600.50 inclusive of all incidental and contingent expenses associated with the construction of the entire scope of the Project The City anticipates the scope of work for the Project to consist of the following responsibilities and the following items: Remove & dispose of existing concrete and pavement as needed to facilitate construction; Construct new paving and associated items and appurtenances, ranging from approximately 9,200 SY of 8" thick concrete pavement, 350 SY of 4" thick concrete driveway, 1,700 SY of 4" concrete sidewalk, 12,750 SY of 8" crushed limestone base, and related items. Installation of roadway drainage and storm sewer systems. Seeding disturbed areas, Traffic control, SWPPP, and related items. February 6, 2025 - Anticipated Date of Notice to Proceed August 2025 - Targeted Completion Date All proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount payable to the City of Bryan, from a surety company authorized to do business in Texas as a guarantee that the Proposer will enter into a contract and provide required insurance within five (5) business days after receiving a Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to City all submittals required by this contract within ten (10) business days from Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to the City executed Performance and Payment bonds within seven (7) business days after City Council Award of Contract. The bond shall be on the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas and approved by the Federal Government, and must bear the impressed seal of the surety company and the name of the Proposer, and be signed by the Proposer and an authorized representative of the surety company.
