The City intends to begin Closed Circuit Television Inspection and Sewer Line Cleaning of selected gravity sanitary and storm sewer mains within the City limits. The Contract will consist of: (1) A scheduled and pre-selected area of sanitary sewers in the city that is part of an annual inspection program, (2) A scheduled and pre-selected area of storm sewers in the city that is part of an annual inspection program, and (3) other inspections of storm and sanitary sewers and laterals to be provided on an unscheduled "as-required" basis including "emergency" services. Approximate quantities of items 1 and 2 will be listed in the quotation and supported by the mapping included in this RFQ. The quotation will also be for the supply of all labour, equipment, traffic control and materials related to the CCTV inspection of sanitary and storm mains. The estimated quantities set forth in the quotation are approximate only, and the basis of payment under this contract will be in the actual amount of work done and material furnished, provided, that if the quantities of the work to be done or material to be furnished under any item vary from such estimated quantities the Contractor shall proceed with the work, but if such variation for a major item exceeds plus or minus 20% of the estimated quantity and if such variation materially increases or decreases the cost of the work or material then either party to the Contract, upon the written request of the other, shall, as soon as reasonably possible, negotiate upwards or downwards the compensation for that portion of the work to be done or material to be furnished which is in excess of or less than such estimated quantity plus or minus the 20% variation as the case may be. 2024 Estimated Quantity: Sanitary Mains = 6747m (150mm to 750mm) Sanitary Laterals = 336 Storm Mains <=375mm = 2489m Storm Mains >375mm = 3649m Storm Laterals = 19 Question Deadline: Fri Nov 22, 2024 12:00:00 PM (EST)
