Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,800-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Region of Waterloo proposes to construct a new bus station at Conestoga College Doon Campus, including nine new bus bays with a transit-only entrance and exit off of Doon Valley Drive, canopies and shelters, including on-demand heating and scheduling display panels, bike parking, concrete roadway, site lighting, a bus drivers building with a break room, three washrooms, electrical, IT/Communications and mechanical rooms, access control, CCTV equipment, water and sanitary servicing, storm sewers, a multi-use trail connection to Doon Valley Drive, benches and landscaping, and underground conduit for future electric bus charging stations.
