sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Warren, New Jersey, for the Warren County Department of Public Works for the Courthouse Parking Lot Security Fence. The approximate major work items include: The existing parking area of the Warren Co. Courthouse in Belvidere, NJ. shall be modified to provide a fenced in area of security for the judicial court parking. This work will include brick piers set on a concrete foundation wall that will extend up above grade. In between the brick piers will be security fencing material that will match the existing security fence surrounding the sally port. The existing sidewalk along Mansfield St will remain and the patch paving will be provided by the county once the project is complete. A sliding security gate will be installed at the parking lot opening and conduit feed will be needed to run electrical feed to the gate motor. Bids will be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein as required by the specifications and supplementary specifications, must be enclosed in envelopes (outer and inner), both of which shall be sealed and clearly labeled with the words CONTRACT BID DOCUMENTS, project number, name of Bidder and date and time of bid opening, and addressed to Marie Watters, Director of Purchasing, Wayne Dumont, Jr. Admin. Bldg., 165 Rt. #519 So, Belvidere, NJ 07823. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond and made payable to the order of Warren County Treasurer's Office, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid; provided said check or bid bond shall not exceed $20,000.00. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities or informalities in the bids. The Contractor is put on notice that he must pay workers the prevailing wage rates promulgated by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry for this project, pursuant to Chapter 150, Laws of 1963 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et. seq.).
