The purpose and intent of this invitation to bid is to a select supplier to provide and deliver Square D(R) electrical supplies, county wide, on an as needed basis, and to secure firm discounts off the manufacturer's list pricing for the contract period as specified herein. This contract will only be awarded to an authorized Square D(R) distributor of new equipment. All bid pricing shall be based upon the Square D Alphanumeric; Digest 178, 2024 or the most recent publication. The Square D price book may change during the contract period, but the discounts' bid must remain fixed for the entire contract term. The vendor awarded this contract shall provide designated District personnel with updated price books and/or discount schedules, when applicable, which will become effective immediately upon receipt. The Square D price book should be emailed to the Purchasing Department immediately after the contract is awarded. All pricing in your response to this solicitation must be based on the most recent digest. If the digest is updated during the contract period, a copy of the new digest must be provided immediately. An email attachment is acceptable to meet this requirement. Bid Specifications NOTE: Items listed on the bid pricing proposal are solely for the purposes of determining the lowest bidder. This contract will be awarded to an authorized Square D(R) distributor of new equipment only. The Discount Schedule named by category shall apply to those items listed, as well as the balance of similar items within that category title that may be purchased that are not listed. Prices must be filled in for all items listed in all categories for your bid to be considered responsive. No substitutions are permitted. The awarded vendor must also provide the following: Fault current study to set electronic trip settings on larger circuit breakers. Access to a phone number that is available 24/7 for any afterhours emergencies. Coordinate Square D product estimates with electrical engineers contracted by PCSB for renovation and new construction projects. The engineers will electronically provide one-line drawings and panel board schedules to the vendor. This will consist of main switch boards, distribution panel boards, panel boards, dry type transformers, surge protection devices, disconnects and branch breakers. The over current protective devices shall be factory assembled in the exact spaces of the panel boards per the engineer of records drawings.
