Martin County is seeking bids from licensed contractors for the extension of water and force mains within county-owned and private rights-of-way in the Beau Rivage area, as indicated on the construction drawings, for the purpose of providing potable water, fire protection, and wastewater collection services. This project is funded in part by a State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Construction Loan Agreement (DW430240). Therefore, the successful Contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local regulations, including, but not limited to, nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers' compensation, licenses, and registration requirements. The Cone of Silence prohibits any communication regarding a RFB, RFP, RFQ or other competitive solicitation between any bidder (or its agents or representatives) or other entity with the potential for a financial interest in the award (or their respective agents or representatives) regarding such competitive solicitation, AND any County Commissioner or County employee, selection committee member or other persons authorized to act on behalf of the Board including the County's Architect, Engineer or their subconsultants, or to provide a recommendation to award a particular contract, other than Purchasing Division staff (pur_div@martin.fl.us). The Cone of Silence shall be in effect from the time of advertisement until contract award. Such communication shall result in disqualification.
