Construction of Chilliwack Long Term Care Facility Project. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals is underway for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified consultants to undertake the services for the project. The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor and if required geotechnical and environmental consultants. Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include: Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Landscape, LEED, Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Civil, Code, Acoustic, Building Envelope, Door Hardware, Modular Construction and Building Information Management (BIM), Arborist, Elevator, Kitchen, Traffic, Waste Management Services. *Only architectural firms that have been prequalified by the Authority for projects over $5 million (either Acute Care Projects over $5 million or Non-Acute Care Projects over $5 million) are eligible to respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from an Architectural firm that is not prequalified for acute care projects or nonacute care projects, greater than $5 million. Proponents proposing to use Sub-Consultants for the following disciplines should use firms that are included on the Authority's pre-qualified list of engineers (pre-qualified for any fee category): mechanical; electrical; structural; civil.
