USNH, representing Plymouth State University (PSU) Physical Plant, is requesting bids for installing approximately 750 feet of direct bury steam and condensate return piping. Question Deadline 12/10/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Response to questions by 12/12/2024. Questions and inquiries concerning this solicitation shall be submitted through online .Oral questions or responses will not be recognized as confirmed information. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions received as a result of this solicitation, to waive minor irregularities, or to negotiate with any respondent, in any manner necessary, to serve the best interests of the owner. USNH reserves the right to request clarification of any aspect of materials received or to request further information as might be required to adequately evaluate credentials and qualifications. The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formalities in the solicitation process. Insurance Requirements USNH insurance requirements are available on the USNH Procurement Services web page under Other Forms: USNH Insurance Requirements Within ten (10) business days after the Owner delivers a Notice of Acceptance, Agreement or Purchase Order, or prior to beginning work on campus, whichever is sooner, the successful Firm shall deliver to the Owner the Certificate of Insurance as specified in the USNH Insurance Requirements. Insurance requirements for construction related events can be found under USNH Insurance Requirements for Construction Contracts. Scope of Services The general scope of work for this project includes provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services, etc., in accordance with Contract Documents for the installation of approximately 750 feet of direct bury steam and condensate return piping. General Information All interested subcontractors, suppliers, distributors, etc. should submit their sub-bids to the bidding contractor(s) of their choice. Special attention is called to: o The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) uses a modified form of ConsensusDocs 200 Standard Agreement and General Conditions Between Owner and Constructor (Lump Sum). This document is available in the Buyer Attachments section of this event online. o This solicitation package contains a mix of USNH documents and documents provided by the design professional. If any discrepancy is noted between a USNH document and one provided by the design professional, the USNH document shall prevail. o All definitions in the bid, contract, general conditions, supplemental conditions, specifications, and other bidding and contract documents are incorporated herein by reference and are fully applicable hereto. o For all construction contracts; wherever the word "Contractor" is used, it is also meant to apply to Design/Build firms and CM firms. o If there is no outside (third party) design engineer on the project, then the word "Owner" should be substituted in any place where the term "design engineer" is stated.
