As of June 20 2025 this is in demolition now The City of Middleburg Heights is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) as it may employ an asbestos/demolition contractor to conduct asbestos abatement and demolition services of the former Sears department store and other buildings, located at 6950 West 130th Street in Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio 44130 as part of the Southland Area Redevelopment Project. The City is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to establish a shortlist of Qualified Proposers to bid on this project.
