The intent of this RFQ is to create a dynamic space that provides exciting student experiences and includes specific furnishings with the colors, finishes, and fabrics indicated in the links below for Lamar Middle School Library: Lamar Middle School The awarded Vendor will provide the full scope of products and services described. The awarded proposal will create contemporary, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments that will improve student engagement, increase use of the School Libraries, as well as collaborative spaces for small and large groups. The ideal school library has modular circulation desks, and age-appropriate, modern tables and chairs with plentiful connectivity for the students' tablets and laptops. Ideal spaces also contain attractive, soft, modular seating to promote flexible, collaborative learning, and social experiences. The design should incorporate these furnishings and existing permanent bookcases that are currently in place. Below is the link to Lamar Library floor plan. Lamar Middle School Proposals provided in response to this RFQ that comply with the requirements set forth, including all forms and certifications, will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria and procedures described. Based on the results of the evaluation, the District will award to the Vendor as set forth in this RFQ. Preference may be given to Vendors with experience in the functional planning and furniture design of renovated school libraries. The Vendor shall demonstrate the ability and history to provide total project management services to include coordination of removal of existing furniture, integration of existing permanent shelving and equipment into the interior design plan, procurement of new furniture, and installation services.
