Renovation of a water / sewer project in Walters, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Water Treatment Plant Improvements Phase Two the Project Consists of Construction of a Metal Chemical Storage Building, Replacement of Water Treatment Motor Control Center (Mcc) Equipment, Replacement of Clarifier Weir and Other Water Treatment Plant Equipment and Facilities at the Walters Water Treatment Plant (Wtp). The Physical Location of the Wtp is 0.7 Miles North of State Highway 5 on County Road N2610. This Project is Being Supported, in Whole or in Part, by Federal Award Number Fa-011904 Awarded to the City of Walters by the Us. Department of Treasury. As Such, the Project Must Comply With Certain Federal Regulations. These Requirements Include Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Requirements, Buy American Requirements, System for Award Management (Sam) Registration by the Successful Bidder and Compliance With Other Federal Regulations. Bids Submitted by Firms Not Represented at the Pre-bid Conference Will Not Be Considered Upon Consideration of the Proposals, the Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bid Proposals to Waive Technicalities and to Make Any Investigation Deemed Necessary Concerning the Bidder's Ability to Provide the Services Covered by the Specifications, and to Accept What in Their Judgment is the Most Advantageous Proposal. Work included: This Section covers labor, material, equipment, and incidentals required for furnishing and installing required plant and/or pumping station piping systems not covered specifically by other Sections of these Specifications and may include the following: 1. Piping materials and applications. 2. Types of valves, materials, and applications. 3. Meters, Specials, etc. 4. Miscellaneous items. The electrical systems required for this Work are indicated on the Drawings and may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Electric service complete to the point of connection with the utility company's facilities. 2. Distribution panels with metering equipment, time counters, feederswitches, circuit breakers, and auxiliary relays. 3. Complete feeder system, in conduit, to power panels, branch circuit panels, and remote disconnects or power panels, branch circuitpanels, and remote disconnects or power panels. 4. Branch circuit panels for power and lighting 5. Complete branch circuit wiring system for lighting, motors, receptacles, junction boxes, and similar uses. 6. . Lighting fixtures, wall switches, receptacles, and similar items. t 7. Telephone conduit and communication equipment including cabinets as required. 8. Trenching and backfilling for underground electrical installations. 9. Wiring, up to and including safety switches and thermostats for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment. 10. Other related electrical equipment including service riser poles, support structures, and sendees needed to complete a usable and operable facility in accordance with all pertinent codes and regulations.
