Contra Costa County (County) is seeking qualified consultants to provide structural engineering services for County projects. Submit questions before 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Questions received after this deadline will remain unanswered. The Contra Costa County Public Works Department (CCCPWD) provides for the construction, maintenance, and improvement of road, stream, channel, and drainage infrastructure within the unincorporated area of the County and the Flood Control District; the County also operates two airports (in Concord and Byron). Typical projects include new construction, maintenance, and improvements of existing public infrastructure facilities, including, but not limited to, roadways, airports, bridges, and drainage facilities. This RFQ does not commit the County to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of an SOQ for this request, or to procure or contract for services. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all SOQs received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified Consultant, or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the RFQ if it is in the best interest of the County to do so. The prospective Consultant is advised that should this RFQ result in recommendation for award of a contract, the contract will not be in force until it is approved and fully executed by the County.
