additional siite visit note: The purpose of this Job Walk is to ensure that Bidders have adequate information to respond fully and comprehensively to the City's requirements. During the Job Walk, City staff will discuss with prospective Bidders the Services to be performed and answer questions arising from Bidders' initial review of this IFB. Before the Job Walk takes place, Bidders should review the IFB thoroughly and should be familiar with its content, as well as the City's functional and technical requirements. Broadway, Room 307 Glendale, CA 91206 Email: bsojobi@glendaleca.gov Contractor shall: o Provide all tools, equipment, labor, materials and services to remove and install various flooring systems at City facilities. o Provide installation and maintenance of carpet tile and broadloom carpeting system from Shaw, Mohawk, Lee's and other commercial brands. o Provide installation and maintenance of linoleum, VCT, and ceramic tile from Armstrong and other commercial brands. o Provide installation and maintenance of rubber base systems from Burke, Armstrong, and other commercial brands. o Provide repairs to wood and concrete subfloors. o Provide free written proposals for all services rendered. o Provide free samples of flooring materials. o Provide maintenance and repair of all types of floor systems. o Lift and/or coordinate the removal of furniture, floor monuments, file cabinets, etc. o Provide after-hours installations as-needed o Provide all services per flooring manufacturer's directions and with flooring manufacturer's materials. o Remove all extra material and debris from the work site. o Leave equipment and work site clean. * The above scope of work is intended to be a general summary of potential work items, task, and or assignments to be performed. * Contractor shall include, within its hourly rates, the cost of all overhead profit, management, supervision, labor, training, tools, and equipment. * Contractor shall provide a written proposal, and the proposal shall be approved by the City, prior to work being performed. *Installations typically include offices, conference rooms, kitchens, hallways, stairs, elevators, storage rooms, and open office areas.
