**In order to bid the project, a complete set of Bid Documents must be obtained by the prime bidder at the office of Owen Engineering, LLC, 900 Market St., Suite 201, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101 upon receipt of $100 deposit (for each set of documents). SCOPE OF PROJECT: This work consists of providing all materials, labor and equipment required for the construction of a five-span precast concrete slab span bridge including, but not limited to, detour road culvert, earthwork, and paving, asphaltic concrete pavement, subgrade preparation, Class II base course construction, excavation, embankment and related work as described in the Contract Documents. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written by a qualified, licensed company in conformance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law The Parish of Caddo reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for just cause and to waive any informalities and technicalities. The Parish of Caddo shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract between Owner and Contractor is fully executed.
