Renovation of a mixed-use development in Shelbyville, Indiana. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Notice is hereby given that responses to this Request for Proposals will be received by Shelbyville Central Schools for the renovation of and improvements to Shelbyville High School locker rooms and athletic offices, Shelbyville Middle School building renovations, Hendricks Elementary walk-in freezer/cooler, and transportation center may be renovated or may instead be new construction. The projects to be completed consists of the following scopes and preliminary budget appropriations: Shelbyville High School - renovations of locker rooms and athletic office spaces estimated budget $6,500,000. Estimated timeline Late Spring and summer of 2025 Shelbyville Middle School - renovations of building lighting, bathrooms, office space, ceiling, and flooring throughout, etc. estimated budget $14,000,000. Estimated timeline late spring and summer 2025-2027 Hendricks Elementary School - Walk-in freezer / cooler - (freezer/cooler itself not included in project) - estimated budget $300,000. Timeline TBD Transportation Center - renovation of existing center and or new construction estimated budget $7,000,000. Timeline TBD The design documents are in the process with Lancer Associates.
