"Both DEEP and the Army Corps have been thorough, professional, and constructive throughout. We've had an open, detailed dialogue to make sure every mitigation measure meets or exceeds the law's requirements. Our initial application was submitted in April and, consistent with DEEP's guidance, placed in the 12-month review track." The request for an Army Corps jurisdictional determination "was simply a procedural step based on updated federal guidance," King said. "It doesn't alter our permitting timeline or obligations.
