The work included in the contact shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals as specified or indicated in the bidding documents which will be made available at the mandatory pre-bid meeting, to make roofing improvements to the Village of Morton Grove Fire Station located at 6250 Lincoln Avenue. Offers may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the Bid Opening Date without the consent of the Village Administrator or his designee. Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, received via fax, or email or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the Bidder. The Village of Morton Grove reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. Unless excused in writing by the Village Administrator or his designee, all bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the full amount of the bid. The initial term of the contract shall be Six Months. At the end of any contract term, the Village reserves the right to extend this contract for a period of up to sixty (60) days for the purpose of getting a new contract in place. For any year beyond the initial year, this contract is contingent upon the budgeting of sufficient funds by the Village; no charges shall be assessed for failure of the Village to budget funds in future contract years. 11/27/2024 Last day to submit questions and requests for clarification.
