A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% is required to be uploaded with your bid response. Failure to do so could deem your bid non-responsive. A Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond will be required upon award. Please acknowledge the City of Garland's Terms and Conditions in the "Attributes" section. A Payment and Performance Bond is being requested for this project. Sec. 2253.021.(1) & (2) of the Local Government Code states that all public works contract in excess of $50,000.00 require a Payment Bond and all public works contracts above $100,000.00 require a Performance Bond. Payment and Performance bonding will be for 100% of the total awarded contract. The project is located at the following locations: Avenue D, from S First St to Allen St; Hopkins St, from Ave B to Lipscomb; Avenue B, from Hopkins St to Hart St; and S First St, from W Avenue E to the Alley between W Ave E and Avenue D. All portions of the construction project are located within the corporate limits of Garland, Texas. Description The scope of work includes construction of approximately 5,500 LF of Storm Culvert, 2,500 LF of Water Lines, and 3,600 LF of Wastewater Lines, along with 13,500 square yards of street, driveway, and sidewalk pavement replacement and all incidentals.
