Site work, remodeling and addition to an educational facility in Fenton, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the remodel of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Fenton Area Public Schools will receive firm prime contractor bids for the labor materials, equipment, and all other services to complete the following Elementary Additions and Remodeling located within the district at North Rd., State Rd., and Tomek-Eastern Elementary. A bid bond executed by a U.S. Treasury listed surety company acceptable to the owner, or a cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the proposal payable to Fenton Area Public Schools shall be submitted with each proposal in excess of $30,512.00. All proposals shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. The cost of the Bond shall be included in each proposal. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities therein. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept that bid which in its opinion, is in the best interest of the Owner.
