**As of February 19 , 2025, This project has been awarded to EE Gilbert, with the awarded amount of $308,995.50..** General work description: The work to be done generally consists of installing 14 curb ramps at selected intersections along Shawn Drive in the Tara Hills residential area. Work near the intersection of Shawn Drive and Delmore Road will also include installation of one raised speed table, and two (2) rectangular rapid flashing beacons. Ancillary improvements include removal and replacement of existing concrete valley gutter and asphalt concrete, and removal and installation of thermoplastic pavement markings. Engineer's cost estimate: $354,000 You are required to subcontract a minimum of 25% of your bid in accordance with the Mandatory Subcontracting Minimum requirements within these special provisions The Contractor must possess a valid Class A or Class C-8 License at the time the Contract is awarded. The successful bidder must furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The Board has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to this work. The prevailing rate of per diem wages is on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, and is incorporated herein by reference thereto, the same as if set forth in full herein. For any classification not included in the list, the minimum wage will be the general prevailing rate for Contra Costa County.
