Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Penticton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 44,280-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Okanagan College Penticton Student Housing project consists of a new +/- 4,100 m2 wood framed student housing facility. The project will include all necessary site improvements and landscaping and is to be built to BC Energy Code Step 4. The intent of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit submissions, in the format detailed in the attached documents, from firms interested in providing Construction Services for the Okanagan College Penticton Student Housing Project for the following scopes of work including but not limited to: Concrete Formwork Concrete Reinforcing Concrete Supply Rough Carpentry - Framing & Mass Timber Installation Rough Carpentry - Lumber & EWP Supply Millwork Masonry Cementitious Siding & Thermal Insulation System Membrane Roofing Glazing - Curtain Wall System, Interior Glazing Vinyl Window Supply Exterior and Interior Doors, Frames and Hardware Steel Stud Framing, Gypsum Wallboard Systems, Ceilings, Fibrous & Sound Insulation Tile, Carpet, Resilient Flooring Painting Elevator Fire Suppression/Sprinklers Mechanical - Plumbing & HVAC Electrical Systems (including access control, AV and security) Landscaping Site servicing, earthworks, paving and civil works Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
