As of April 18, 2025, an award has been announced. Prequalified Firms only for Tara Stadium Athletic Fieldhouse located at 1055 Battle Creek Road, Jonesboro, GA 30336. The proposed scope of work consists of but is not limited to: Replacement of field house and storage building. Renovation of concessions buildings. Exterior improvements include new awning/canopies, replacement fencing at Home & Visitor sides, landscaping and new fencing on field level by field house. All anticipated federal, state and local permits required for the Project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated to be ready for issue upon General Contractors executed Contract. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have not been obtained. Required rights of way or easements are anticipated to be ready for issue upon General Contractors executed Contract. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. In order to maintain a proper flow of information concerning Bid Document updates (Addendums), only Prequalified Bidders who have obtained Bidding Documents through the Architect will be considered for Bid. Upon receiving Bidder's e-mail request, the Bidder will be provided access to the Southern A&E Project Share site and if requested, sets will be printed on their behalf at Southern A & E's office. Bidder will be informed when printed sets are available for pickup. Arrangements can be made for delivery with collect charge. It will be the responsibility of the Bidder to download documents from the Share site and to plan for pick-up of traditional paper format documents at Southern A&E's office (including Addendums). Once Bidder has downloaded Bid Documents or has received traditional paper format documents, Bidder is required to Sandy Courtois that they have received the documents as a confirmation of their receipt. At Bidder's option, Bidder can plan for additional sets to be printed. Southern A&E can provide the Bidder with the Project's quantity of 30" x 42" plan sheets and 8-1/2" x 11" specification pages; however, quantities of printing required for Addendums will be unknown.
