SCOPE Work Included: This work shall consist of providing all equipment, labor and incidentals install timber fender system including timber piles, timber horizontal members (walers), dolphins (breasting and mooring), bumpers, and associated hardware in accordance with the plans and these specifications. This work also includes removing, replacing, handling, driving, cutting off, re-bolting, and repair of timber piling and removing, replacing, handling, framing, and bolting of other timber members for a complete fender system. This facility is an active site and the Owner is willing to work with the contractors to schedule activities and coordinate locations of vessels along the dock. However, it should be understood that the function of the facility shall take precedence over the construction activities and potential restriction/delay due to vessels docked near or along the fender system shall be at no cost to the Owner.
