Cherry Park Drainage Improvements The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids not conforming to the intent and purpose of the specifications, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 90 days from the bid opening date. This item also includes all work outside the limits of construction that is necessary to demobilize and restores areas disturbed by the Contractor to their original condition including, but not limited to, pavement rehabilitation, grading, seeding, mulching, cleaning, and disposal. Administrative and supervisory requirements necessary for coordination of work on the project include but are not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Coordination and meetings. 2. General: This section specifies procedural and administrative requirements for compliance with governing regulations, codes and standards imposed upon the work. These requirements include obtaining permits, licenses, inspections, releases and similar documentation, as well as payments, statements and similar requirements associated with regulations, codes and standards. Work with No Identified Payment Items: No additional payment will be made for items of work for which a separate payment item is not specified or contained in the Bid Schedule; such work shall be deemed incidental to the project and payment for said work shall be considered as included in the various unit bid prices. A. General: Required inspection and testing services are intended to assist in the determination of probable compliance of the work with requirements specified or indicated. These required services do not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for compliance with these requirements or for compliance with requirements of the Contract Documents. B. Specified Inspection and Tests: Inspection, tests and related actions specified in this section and elsewhere in the Contract Documents are not intended to limit the Contractor's own quality control procedures which facilitate overall compliance with requirements of the Contract Documents. C. Contractor Quality Control: Requirements for the Contractor to provide quality control services as required by the Engineer, the Owner, and the provisions of this section do not limit governing authorities or other authorized entities. D. Contractor's Quality Control Personnel and Laboratory: Contractor shall conform to the requirements of Section S-700 of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction and all technical specifications as listed in this manual. A. Contractor shall furnish, install and maintain temporary utilities required for construction and other temporary facilities as indicated; remove on completion of work. B. Related requirements are specified in other sections of the specifications. Contractor shall execute cleaning during progress of the work and at completion of the work as required by the General Provisions and other specification documents.
