As of June 23, 2025, this project has been cancelled. The Work is part of the Farm to Market Forcemain Extension Project and consists of constructing the forcemain extension in the Town of Union in accordance with the Bidding Documents heretofore prepared by GHD Consulting Services Inc All other questions shall be submitted in writing to Ben Watkins at ben.watkins@ghd.com. Bidders shall review and acknowledge all Addenda on the Bid Form. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. If, upon acceptance of a Bid, a Bidder fails to enter into a Contract with the Town of Union, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of the Town. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 45 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the Town of Union and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of Article 5 of the General Conditions on the forms included in the Bidding Documents. This contract is subject to compliance with Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding Prevailing Wage Rates and Federal Law regarding Davis Bacon Wage Rates. The Owner reserves the right to revise or amend the contract bidding documents prior to the date set for opening bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be issued by addenda. Any inquiries regarding questions on contract documents must be submitted in writing per the "Bid Clarification Form" contained in the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to certify, under penalty of perjury, that Bids have been prepared without collusion with other Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included with the Bid Form and each Bidder must sign in the space provided.
